I recently set up Sablon Interiors, which is based in Hoeilaart, Belgium, to serve the design needs of both residential and small independent commercial sector clients. I have a Diploma in Interior Design (awarded with Distinction) from Rhodec International and a Higher Education Diploma in Interior Design from the London Metropolitan University. I also hold a Certificate (Outstanding) in Design and Composition from Sessions Online School of Design, New York.

My design philosophy is to encourage my clients to use existing furniture or to consider antique furniture or antique salvage material in their interiors.  Mixing old and new is one of my guiding principles. Each space that I work on is tailored to the client’s or user’s lifestyle and needs, and the design is sensitive to the architectural style of the building. Quality and restrained luxury are key to a timeless interior. Care and attention to detail are paramount to the success of a scheme, and I am passionate about quality and customer care. I believe that people should feel comfortable in any interior and that their experience of that interior should be enjoyable and memorable.
